Terapy is a Dutch furniture brand retailing across Europe. With plans to expand they asked us to refine their brand positioning and to create a new visual identity and retail site.
Rather than presenting Terapy as a furniture substitute we focussed on their key benefit of extreme comfort and, in turn, what that comfort could do for their customers.
This is not a beanbag.
This is a time machine;
a life raft;
an escape pod.
The inspiration for the marque came from one of their most popular and well known pieces. This was combined with hand drawn type to convey a sense of a wandering mind.
A playful suite of illustrations were developed for use across all communication from business cards, to the website, to packaging and the trade show stand.
